the description on the website tells that "the house was designed for young professionals who need minimal space while they focus on career..."

the young professional needs minimal space because work must be all consuming and the living environment is a burden or an unnecessary distraction from work. the young professional has no time for a garden, a space to cook a decadent meal, to set the table for friends. those are all the things that take the worker away from the work. the house is smooth plastic, easy to clean. It reminds me of one of those self cleaning toilets. though i like the futuristic look of it as eye candy.
