Jim West, the Mayor of Spokane who was so fiercely for denying gay rights in the workplace is accused of favoritism in giving sexy young men he met online, jobs in his office (among other things. see transcript of online chat). The interesting thing is that now the public might get to vote if they want West in or out. In a way this forces them to vote on a gay issue. If you keep him, you vote pro gay (even if in the closet), if you boot him, you vote pro gay too (since he was such a biggot). he he. what to do? those pesky gay people just wont disappear.
