one of my students emailed me about a news story on a local public radio about these flags appearing in a Seattle neighborhood and unpsetting the residents. Here is the email:

"Hey, Irina. I hope your quarter's going well. I was just going to tell you
that I heard a story today on 94.9 about a local park where residents were
getting steamed because there were American flags with G.W.'s face on them
in piles of dog shit. I missed the name of the park as I was slowly gaining
consciousness, but they had audio of some guy hoping the bandit would be
caught and forced to pay a littering fine. Anyways, kudos if it was you,
and if not, kudos on getting a copycat."
