monday night we the CROW projected huge images in the red square. created a virtual graffiti. people could write their words on a laptop projected over the phallus pillars in the red square. we also had a bunch of overheads and video projections on the outside walls of Kane Hall. video installation art piece by Lynn G., video by Mike C., slide photography by Giorgia A., overhead images found by Tema M. and markers for additional inspiration. People could write on the overheads or type on the laptop and have their words projected hugely on the wall. It was a fun spectacle.
John C. managed to assemble a giant military overhead projector from the 70s that was donated to us for the project from freecycle! it was one of the three freecycle projectors donated for the project. The Simpson Center also donated amazingly powerful projectors and a laptop. John K. came through and bailed us out with cords of all sorts so that we could have sound and video. April P., Whitney A., Tracy M. and Meredith B. also worked on the projections and were awesome all around.
Also a few undergrads showed up to help from Tema and John's classes.
