this guy from Japan ate 53 1/2 hot dogs in 12 minutes at the New York International Hot Dog eating competition. he ate about 4.5 hot dogs per minute. that's over one dog every 15 seconds. it almost seems like he'd have to swallow it whole.

i'm just thinking, if one hot dog is about 6" long, that would be 26.5 feet of just hot dog links ligned up butt to butt. the winner of the competition is only 5'6" tall and there are also the buns....
